Selectmen Meeting Minutes
February 2, 2007
Present: M. Genest, R. Haggett, and B. Pratt
Also in attendance: W. Prokop, K. Vance, C. Lunetta, C. Burnside, L. Warren
The selectmen opened the meeting at 10:00 A.M..
The selectmen approved the minutes of the January 22nd meeting.
The selectmen then reviewed the agenda and information for the upcoming budget hearing which will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 3rd.
The selectmen set the Bond Hearing date to be Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 and it will be held in the Meeting Room at Town Hall at 7:00 P.M.
The selectmen voted to appoint Ms. Donna Hanson, Municipal Registration Agent for the Department of Motor Vehicles. This will allow her to use Town facilities and equipment to process Motor Vehicle plates for the State of New Hampshire . The fees received for doing this will be deposited into the Town's General Fund.
The selectmen reviewed and discussed an amendment to the letter of agreement with Steele Pond Development, LLC for the leasing of mineral rights on their property. This will be discussed and finalized at a future meeting.
The selectmen reviewed general correspondence and approved payroll and A/P for the week.
The selectmen met with K. Vance, C. Lunetta, L Warren, and C. Burnside to discuss the concept of Antrim having a Teen Center it was agreed to draft a warrant article and to ask the voters if they support the concept at the March Town Meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 12:00 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for 02/03/07 at 10:00 A.M. and the agenda will be the second Budget Hearing . The next regular selectmen’s meeting will be February 12th, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at which the warrant will be set and signed.
